Concert On Your Doorstep
Lucy Hewson and Rebecca Prosser are professional classical musicians with a passion for sharing the music they love to perform. In June 2020 they started Concert On Your Doorstep, with the aim of bringing live music out of the concert hall and directly to people isolated in their homes, care homes and sheltered housing.

Repertoire
Concert On Your Doorstep play an astonishing range of music which they have especially arranged for two violins: traditional folk, rock and pop, Latin American, music from the shows, classical favourites – from Bach to Abba, Dolly Parton and David Bowie. As skilled arrangers we can accommodate any special musical requests!
Performances
During the pandemic Concert On Your Doorstep are exclusively performing outdoors socially distanced concerts, Audiences can listen outside or from the comfort of doors, windows, porches and balconies. We perform literally on doorsteps, in drives, car parks and gardens for sheltered housing, care homes and private individuals. Book us for weddings and celebrations or a unique Birthday gift or Christmas concert.
Workshops
Concert On Your Doorstep are skilled deliverers of entertaining and inclusive workshops for primary and secondary schools, performed on the recorder, violin, viola and keyboard. With our knowledge of historical performance and a range of interesting instruments from the Renaissance to the present day we can delve into the past and explore the future. Performing outside is our speciality so the pandemic doesn’t need to stop the music!
